UCS regen

New to bricscad - having UCS trouble. When I create a UCS (simple 2d rotations around z axis so far) sometimes the drawing will regen to align with the new UCS and sometimes the regen comand will not work, it stubbornly stays on the previous, usually world, view even though the UCS has clearly been set up (icon has re-aligned) in the model space view. I'm sure I'm missing something abovious - any help gratefully received.

  • By default changing the UCS does not change the plan view. This is governed by the UCSFOLLOW setting. I don't understand the random behavior your question seems to imply. Something must be triggering UCSFOLLOW somehow.

    To change UCSFOLLOW:
Start the _SETTINGS command and search for UCSFOLLOW.
And select the 'Show plan ..' option.

To manually change the plan view you can use the _PLAN command.
