Stuck in 3D

Hi all, I never work in 3d in this program. I pressed a number of keys doing something else and ended up in 3d. I want to go back to 2D. Can someone please explain how to get back to 2D?

View / look from / top.

Settings search elevation and check replace Z value. ( extra feature that disregards snapping to stuff that is not placed in Z=0 )

Thank for that but maybe I am asking the wrong question. The screen I have looks like the attchment 'ddd' but what i want is 'eee' I am stuck and on a deadline.

Try entering "2DCONTEXT" at the command line, or using the equivalent menu item View | 2D Context. Should do the trick.
