odd behaviour with fresh install -Version 14.2.09 revision 33835
I've just installed Version 14.2.09 revision 33835 after uninstalling previous ver of 14 and there is no Open dwg screen, only the command line asks for the dwg name.
I reset to defaults and started B'cad again
This time it asked for the dwg and I could pull it up using the standard 'open' window, but then it reverts to only the command line when I close it.
ALso each dwg I open says "Warning: Unsupported AutoCad Version: 19.0 Bricscad.
I'm on Win 7 Pro 32 bit.
I just downloaded today - Version 14.2.09 revision 33835
Any ideas on either or both please.
It's beyond me.

As to your first query, type FILEDIA at the command line and make sure that it is set to "ON". For the second I would suggest filing a support request. V14.2.09 on 64bit runs fine.0

I persevered, then rebooted the computer and it all came right.
Not sure what was going on.
One observation re 64 bit, I found that was seamless with BricsCad and my applications.
Compared with the 32 biit version ie.0
