Trying to create a new Palette locks the desktop
openSUSE 12.3 64 bit, BricsCAD V14.2.07 Beta 64 bit platinum
Hi there,
When I try to create a new palette the KDE 4.12 desktop locks, I have to restart it, so no feedback if I run BricsCAD from a virtual console.
The "New Palette" tab shows at the bottom and a name field opens at the top left of the palette box with the text "New Palette" preselected and the cursor changes to a text cursor, but I can't edit the text nor click anywhere else. After restarting the desktop (ALT+CTRL+BACKSPACE twice) the CPU temp is visibly higher than normal, indicating it was at 100% during the lock time.
I can add/remove items to the three default palettes - Commands, Hatches and Draw - without problem.
Does anyone running openSUSE has this problem or can create new palettes without issues? If more people have it then I will open a support request.
Thanks,

Workaround: create the toolbar in a windows install and copy the pertinent files over.
I tried to create a new pallete both in linux V13 and V12, but had the same desktop lock.0
