Plotting with Plot Styles

When I want to plot a layout in monochrome I set the plot style to monochrome in the print dialog. When I print this, the paper space portion of the layout prints monochrome but the view-ports do not. How do I fix this?

  • In Print Dialog / Plot Options is "Plot with Plot Styles" checked?
  •  Yes the plot with plot styles is checked
  • Gary,

I would check the Visual Style & Shade Plot properties of the viewport(s). Depending on what you have selected, they can take precedence over plot styles. For standard 2D, use 2dwireframe.

  •  I see. If I select modeling as the visual style then I am able to see the view port contents in monochrome and get it to print that way as well. It was 3d objects that were the problem Thanks.
