Express Tools
During the evaluation of the BrisCad, we note some tools/commands that this Software does not have, that we are important. I would like to know the best way to replace them, if possible.
· Does not come with the Express Tools installed. There is a need to be downloaded and installed separately as was done at the time of Autocad 2000, and some functions do not perform;
Thanks,
Eric Rodrigues

Suggest you look at the BcadTools & Express Tools (free) in the Applications Store.
Bcad tools has the LAYERP command you asked about in another post.0 -
There are add-on tools for Bricscad similar to most of Autocad's Express tools.
But there's no available tool that does what OVERKILL does.
That's the only thing I miss about Autocad.
It would be worth a lot to me to have OVERKILL, but not the $3500 difference in price between Bricscad and Autocad.0 -
OVERKILL is a built-in command with V14. For earlier versions you can use BricsCAD Express Tools, which includes this command.

I want to mention that I had difficulty finding the express tools when I first tried to find them. I think I was confused about how I should go to a application store to "buy" a free product. When I first searched I think there was more than one Express Tools, some from other companies. Though, when I just searched, only one came up, so I think that may have resolved itself. However, there were other comparable products, like BcadTools Freeware. Even the one titled "Express Tools" doesn't not seem to be from BricSys, so I was also confused if I was getting the correct product.The official express tools really should be part of the install routine for BricsCAD.-Joe0
