Excel

I Have two problem with Excel, and i would like to know the best way for me.

·         Cannot import the Excel table in native extension (.xls and .xlsx);

·         Pasted Excel files fail in formatting as occurred in the version of Autocad (Show hidden text or cut as if they weren't within the preview, mainly on merged cells);

Thanks,

Eric Rodrigues

  • You can import an Excel spreadsheet by copying the cells in Excel to your clipboard, and then pasting them in BricsCAD.  It will become an  "Object Linking and Embedding" object, which can be edited back in Excel by double-clicking on it.

    If you create a table, in the table creation window, you can import a .CSV or .XML file, but not an .XLS or .XLSX file.

  •  I am sorry, but I do not know the cause of your problem.  I suggest you request technical assistance from Bricsys.  One of the great things about the company is that they are very responsive to requests for help.  With other companies, you must pay for a subscription to obtain that kind of support.

    On the upper part of this web site, you will see the "Support" link.  Once you are on the support page, on the lower right side is a blue rectangle that says "Support Request"  Describe the problem, and send them the files involved, such as the DWG and the XLS files(they will keep the file private).
