Creating Custom Hardware

 Hello:

I am needing to create a bunch of standard components that I use on a daily basis and I would like them to appear in the Mechanical Browser's Library tab.  I am wondering if it is possible to add custom components, and if so, how I could go about adding them?

     I just ran into the same issue.  In particular a bearing library would be nice.

    The whole mechanical package is certainly not as mature a product as other, more-costly, parametric design programs.  So, don't invest too much time in it if you find that it does not meet your needs.  Check the cost of your time that would be saved by going to a more expensive package.  You just have to weigh the cost of using BricsCAD vs. another package.

    It is difficult to know until you really spend a lot of time in a CAD program before you understand its abilities and limitations   So, often the decision is just to go with what you know, and sometimes the more expensive option is really not an option financially   For me, the BricsCAD Platinum package turned out to not be as useful as I had hoped.
