DMSUBTRACT documentation? and How to select solids to subtract
There does not seem to be documentation of DMSUBTRACT. I can't even find it with the forum search.
What I need to know is how to select solids to subtract. The command keeps insisting on a 'point'. I have all my solids to subtract on one layer, and the solid to subtract from on another. The problem is, when I mouse over or click on the items to subtract, it just keeps selecting the positive that I want to subtract from.
Any suggestions?

I am not aware of a DMSUBTRACT command. There is a SUBTRACT command for subtracting one solid from another. That is documented in the help files.-Joe0

Joe,
These commands seem to be the same thing. I did find reference to DMSUBTRACT in the 'Bricscad for Autocad Users' document.sub vs dmsub.png0 -
I finally got the solid I wanted. I could not figure out how to use quick select to get solids into my 'to subtract' selection set. Or, fpr even a set for the MOVE command . However I did select by layer using the Prompt Menu. I had to type the name of the layer though, and would have preferred the drop down in the quick select.0
