Solidedit - Shell command
Is anyone else having a problem "shelling" a solid? I get the following error message even when shelling even a small box.
"Modeling operation error:
model is too large or is positioned outside the modeling space"
Seems like a bug because the command does not work at all, I only get the error message.

Hi Christopher,
Yes I've come across this issue, haven't had time to work through the potential cause. The drawing I experienced this on had a large number of 3D solids. My work around was to copy & paste the object to be shelled to a new drawing, carry out the shell operation, then copy and paste back.
I would raise a support request on this if you can.

Jason - That's exactly what I tried and it worked.
Must be a bug in the program. I submitted a support request regarding the issue.
