Pastes to Wrong Location
Bricscad 11.3.16 Linux on Ubuntu 12.04
OK. I'm happily working away inserting fire hydrant blocks in my drawing. All is well for about an hour then boom. Ctl-C / Ctl-V and all copy/paste menu commands give a different result. Instead of pasting the block in my drawing the block is pasted 10,000 feet away near a y value of zero.
INSUNITS does nothing to correct this problem. I can copy the entire drawing and insert into a new, blank drawing and all is well for an undetermined period of time until it happens again.
This is a reoccurring problem. I can not predict when it will happens but once it happens it keeps occurring.
Any suggestions??

Having "ortho" turned on will sometimes have this effect when pasting objects (typically copied from another drawing without base coordinates). As long as it's off I have never had the issue.0

Ortho was on and was causing the problem.
Many thanks to you.0
