standard page setup

When I insert a new layout this layout allways have the same page setup (e.g. landscape orientation ). If I change every layout to portrait orientation and insert a new layout this new layout have again landscape orientation. How can I change the standard page setup?

    Right-click on a layout tab that has portrait orientation, and select "Copy" instead of "New."
    Or select "From Template..." to copy a layout from another file.
