Xref does not show up

I'm having a problem: when I try to attach a certain file to a drawing, it does not show up.  I can see a preview of it in the drawing manager after loading the xref, but in model space it only shows up as the file path, no line work.  Also, when trying this, BricsCAD frequently crashes.  I have tried auditing the file, and also copying just what I need from it into a new file and attaching that, to no avail.  It's not a large file, but it previously referenced a file with a very large image, which I've detached and deleted.  Thanks for any advice.

    Hi Dakotah,

    You could try using _WBLOCK to write out the objects you want to a new file. This works differently to Copy paste. You could also try breaking the drawing (WBLOCK out in a number of parts) up to try and narrow down where the issue is coming from.
