xref linetype definitions problems

when xrefs are opened or reloaded the linetype definitions that are layer controlled are changed to continuous lines

Me too.  This has to be fixed.

When I first attach an xref everything is ok.   I close the drawing with the xrefs attached and open it again and the xref's layers are all continuous linetype.  They display AND plot incorrectly.

Same here in version 15.1.16

Undefined LineType
AcDbLayerTableRecord(1BB4E)

is reported when the drawing is being reopened for each xref's linetype

FYI,
we are preparing an update release for the coming days. It will contain a fix for this problem in the Teigha libraries.

Xref related:

Check that xref and you drawing use same LTscale value and ddunits value.
If the architect creates drawings in meters and this was not changed/updated,
set ddunits to meters , even if the dwg is indeed mm
