A question about tt (temporary tracking points)
Hi,
I'm using V15 for the mac and I have a question about using temporary tracking points with PLINES. Basically, I'm trying to find out what I'm doing wrong.
Setup:
2D drawing Mode
2 views: top and left front iso
I have a 3d solid (extruded from a rectangle made from poly lines that is 22w x 28d x 60h
What I'm trying to do is start a PLINE that is .25 to the left of the bottom left front corner of my 3d solid. So, I click on PLINE, type tt, and click (using entity snap) on the bottom left corner of my 3d solid in the left front iso view to set my temporary tracking point. I then enter in 0.25 and some of the time it will start my PLINE at the proper offset (about 20% of the time). However, most of the time it will start the PLINE at the point where the tt has been placed.
If it was always starting the PLINE at the point where the tt was placed, rather than the 0.25 offset, I would say "what am I doing wrong?". But since it works some of the time, I'm confused. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Dan

Playing around with it some more, if I use tk instead tt, it works fine.0
