BricsCAD (64 Bit) crashing on start-up

 Hi,

We are having problems with 64 bit BricsCAD crashing with the following error message :

"The application could not start correctly. (0xc00000005) Click OK to close the application."

Looking on the Bricssys knowledge base, I found the following article which suggests removing/reinstalling some DLLs :


However, after following these steps, the problem persists. 32 bit BricsCAD installs and runs, however this is not ideal on 64 bit machines.

Can you please advise what else may be causing these crashes on start-up?

    Do you have any AV software active while installing ?
    Some AV could have removed some (necessary) DLLs, due to "Heuristics" ...
