BIM Help
I have pdf Help for BIM module 13.1. As this is a lot more explanatory than the brief few BIM items in BricsCAD v15 Trial Help, is the 13.1 Help still relevant, or has Brics BIM changed completely? The teminology seems different e.g. no Forms any more.
Is there any more detailed Help or publication about Brics BIM v15?

Just wanted to bump this up to the top, I am looking at trying the BIM module out on a couple of little projects that I have coming...0

There is more (or same?) inBricsCAD V15 manual from https://www.bricsys.com/estore/estoreBooks.jsp but it's not kept pace with features being added e.g. BIM Database incl Materials and Compositions - most vital stuff. I also have a BIM Module (beta) Training Guide but that seems to be about the old version.0

The old software from 1999 was called BricsCAD Architecturals and it ran in AutoCAD or Intellicad. When it was ported to the new BricsCAD platform it was renamed 'Bim Module'. It was very comprehensive with a window frame builder, stair builder, roof tools etc. But it has no connection with the modern BricsCAD Platinum Direct Modelling technology. The technology has changed completely.
The new BIM workspace in Platinum is very new - it was only released in October 2014. New capabilities are still being added and the documentation is probably a bit 'thin'. Louis Verdonck's movies on Bricys.tv are a good start. http://bricsys.tv/#bim
Materials and Compositions are covered in the online help at https://www.bricsys.com/en_AU/bricscad/doctools/0 -
Thanks for clarification. AFAIK the new BIM is indeed unique amongst the Building Modelers - Revit, Archicad, Bentley Building Designer etc. I am making a separate thread about the comparison.0
