Snapping in Windows 8.1

Just installed version 15.3.05 on my 8.1 pro and all seems well except snapping.  I don't get the square symbol showing the snap point (a corner or midpoint) and some strange distortions show up next to the cursor.  If I am drawing a line from an endpoint for example, the line start somewhere else on the screen while the mouse is down but it shows up correctly after I release.

Anyone encounter the same issues?  Any help?

    Check that you have up to date video drivers. In BricsCAD, you can run the command REDSDKINFO. This will generate a report from the rendering engine as to the drivers it is using and whether it believes there are updates.
