Consistently occurring problem with BricsCAD.

Very good morning.

I am technical person for BricsCAD, Mumbai,India.

Me & my few Customers or BricsCAD users, facing a consistent problem with BricsCAD.
Which still we don't identify the reason. I already check in Forum, no any solution available there also. I ask customer to uninstall & install again with fresh download  software, but still they are facing this problem.
I also can not understand , why it's happening.
I also attached screen short of it. Please check.

Problem:-  Frequently BricsCAD stop working and we lost all unsaved data. It also not available in backup file.

note:- configuration- CORE i5, 4gb RAM / CORE 2DO, 4gb RAM

So I request you, please if any one  have any solution, kindly suggest me.

  • You should send in a support request regarding this issue.
    In the mean time make sure to check your SAVETIME and SAVEFILEPATH settings.
    If you set the SAVETIME interval to 10 minutes you will not loose more than 10 minutes' worth of work.
    In case of a crash you can use the autosave files from your SAVEFILEPATH. Look for .SV$ files and rename to .dwg.
  • Seems related to boundary detection (?) - check SELECTIONMODES setting (settings dialog), and disable that feature).
    maybe, this prevents the crashes ...
    also, please add a sample dwg + description what you are doing, to the support request, so that our analysts could try to reproduce.
