Problem with weigth lines in print in V 16
I think there is problem in V16.
All my prints have only thin lines when I print.
There is no diffrence when: "Plot entity lineweights" is ON or OFF.
All lines on printed paper are allways only thin.
The same dwg files in V15 are printed well.
Thanks

Have you correctly set up your 'PlotStylePath' , 'PlotCfgPath' and the appropriate files (*.ctb; *.stb; *.pc3)?0

To expand on Mr Gebbinck's comment, it may not be that you set the path incorrectly but rather that the path was forgotten by the program. I have had my v14 suddenly forget the path to the plot style, which caused the lineweights to be ignored. Manually resetting it fixed the problem.-Joe0

I tried to repair PlotStylePath and PlotCfgPath. Then I deleted them a used files from V15.In this TEST file for example printed output is completely different.Bricscad 15, draftsight, nanocad have the same output:0,13 lines are thin 0,35 are thick.V16 have only thin lines.I have 2 PC, 1 NB, allways the same result:other cads include Bricscad15 works well,Bricscad 16 doesnt work.I really dont know what to do.Am I supposted to use V 150

Why not file a support request and attach a sample drawing, we will be glad to investigate what goes wrong, and apply a fix if required.0
-
Oh, please also attach the plot config file if used.0

no, plot style table is allwas NONE default0

A quick look at the drawing attached here shows that it is set up to use following pc3 plotter configuration file: "Brother MFC-6890 CDW Printer.pc3"
But this is the user forum, where you can get support from peer users, for support from Bricsys staff, please file a support request. Thanks.0 -
Brother printer is not problem. The same issue is with output to PDF Foxit Phantom.Absolutely the same.Have you tried to print my file in V16?Was 0,35 lines thicker than 0,13 lines?Thanks0

file Brother MFC-6890 CDW Printer.pc3 is the same in V15 and in V16 (copy, paste)in V15 prints well, I really dont know why in V16 is difference0

I uninstalled V15, V16, deleted all configuration files, user files too ...then install only V16 again, print ... wrong ... all lines are thin ( very thin)today i wasted 200 papers, all files from all cads are printed goodall files from bricscad 16 are printed wrongon my 3 PC ...there must be something wrong0

Miroslav,
Are you sure that the settings on the right side of the Print dialog box are set the same. The only way I can see a difference in line weights is to have "Plot with plot styles" unchecked, and then plot once with "Plot entity lineweights" checked and once with "Plot entity lineweights" unchecked. When I plot your drawing with "Plot with plot styles" checked and the "None (default)" plot style selected I see exactly the same output in V15 and V16.0 -
Yes I am sure, that settings are the same.Maybe total reset of all settings could help.Uninstall and new install wasn't total reset. But why all my 3 PC have the same problem?0
-
I have done next tens tests. There is never difference if "Plot entity lineweights" is unchecked or checked."Plot entity lineweights" ON or OFF is always the same.Never for all DWGs (20) , all PCs (3) all printers (3).I didn't find situation or combination where it would work.In V15 works well each combinations from my DWGs, PCs, printers.print.jpg0

I thought there is maybe something wrong with my configuration, then I realised i have my fourth PC , 11" win tablet, there was never installed any CAD,it is completely clean system. I installed Bricscad 16 there and result was as i expected.Bricscad 16 has problem with printing.I made test file. Printed on virtual PDF Foxit printer. Each printer has the same output. Results i attached. If you don't believe me, print my test file with "plot entity lineweight" ON and OFF.Can you see difference between them? I don't, but there must be difference.0,35 lines is thicket than 0,13 lines. In Bicscad 15 there is difference for example. The same file printed in V15 and V16 is different. It has no sense.thanksTest print.jpg0

Miroslav,
Have you tried version 16.1.02?
I tested your file with the Bluebeam and the Docuprinter PDF printer drivers and both produced proper output with the "none" plot style table. I do not have the Foxit printer driver to test with. Have you tried any other printer drivers? It may be that there is some conflict between Bricscad and Foxit. I know that with the PDF drivers I've tried in the past the outputs are not all the same. I would also check the Vector Graphics setting in the Settings tab in the Plotter Configuration Editor. The setting needs to be 600 dots per inch to see four distinct line widths for .013, 0.18, 0.25, and 0.35 mm.
Have you tried the "monochrome" plot style table?0 -
Thanksin 16.01.02 it was repaired0
