Is BRICSCAD OS X 10.11 El Capitan ready ?

I started demoing Bricscad.

I get error messages that look like Bricscad is not able to read (?) or write its settings
in User Library Preferences.

And it looks like I managed to destroy the Ribbon (?)
Edit : it came back after an (additional) App restart.

  • Michael,
Has Bricscad been working well for you lately on El Capitan?  I'm considering upgrading to El Capitan instead of running Bricscad on Windows and would like to find out more about any potential downfalls or issues.  I'm currently doing a trial run myself on Windows and can't run Bricscad on my old MAC OS X.
  • In our offices, we use all 3 supported OSX versions for development: OSX 10.9,10.10 and 10.11.
This is a safety measure, so we have a good chance to notice version-specific bugs, without needing a report by a user.
BricsCAD(Mac) seems to run equally well on OSX 10.11, as on 10.9 and 10.10.
Two developers use OSX 10.11 at this moment, and at least 3 other colleagues have tried BricsCAD on OSX 10.11 when V16 was released.
  •  Thanks, Tijs!  Glad to hear BricsCAD runs well on all the latest MAC operating systems!  I look forward to trying it on the MAC soon!
