How do I go about using the 'Isolate Layer' command and show only the isolated layer objects showing on the screen? Thanks for your help.

Raju,
Select the Isolate Layer command button in the tool bar or type layiso on the command line.
You will be prompted with "Select Entities on the Layer(s) to be isolated or [Settings]:
Type "S" and press enter to access settings.
You will be prompted with "Setting for layers not isolated [off/lock]:"
Type "Off" and press enter.
You will be prompted with "In paper space viewports use [vpfreeze/off]:"
Type "Off" and press enter.
You will be prompted with original prompt to "Select Entities on the Layer(s) to be isolated or [Setting]:"
Select an entity on a layer that you wish to isolate and press enter and the other layer will be turned off. The command should work the way you want from now on...
Hope this helps...
Regards,
Kevin
