All lines, arcs, text etc. slightly blurred in V16
I have just upgraded to V16 and now all my lines, text etc. are all blurry.
I have a Black background in Model Space and my Layouts are White and I am getting the same effect in both places.
Is there a new setting where I can change this to how it was in V15 or am I stuck with it?
I haven't changed any hardware, only upgraded Bricscad.
Obviously I can't post a screen shot as it would be meaningless.
Thanks in advance for anyone's help.

I think you are referring to ANTIALIASSCREEN.0

Thanks for the tip Roy,
I have had a look in settings and can't seem to work out which one of the AntiAlias settings I am supposed to change!
I have however found a way to demonstrate what is happening on screen.
When I used to hover over text in V15, the whole word would highlight in a solid colour, now it shows up with a sort of crosshatch pattern.
I have attached a .png to illustrate between the two versions.
Hopefully this may help someone figure out what is happening.
Thanks Again,

You can try to change HIGHLIGHTEFFECT. But I don't think you can change the crosshatch pattern when a TTF text (or any other entity displayed with a solid fill) is highlighted. I don't see the effect for line work if LWDISPAY is OFF.0

Have you tried setting AntiAliasScreen to 1?0

@Hans,
Thanks very much, that seems to have improved things a lot!
The crosshatch effect is still there on text and text is a little fuzzy when zoomed out, but the lines, arcs etc. are much sharper thank you.
I must admit, I thought I had altered this already, but I must have forgotten to press enter and it didn't take!
Thanks to Roy as well, we got there in the end.
All the best,

Have you tried setting AntiAliasScreen to 1?V16-64bit:I had this problem solved in V16-32bit by setting Screen Antialiasing to "0"But in V16-64bit this does not seem to make any difference. Is there any other button to be clicked?0

Have you tried using the _REGEN command after changing AntiAliasScreen?0
-
I have restarted my PC - and it did not change anything.I am using a german version, so maybe there a misunderstanding from my side:the german command name is:Titel:"Anzeigen"Command:"Anti-Aliasing Stärke für die Ansicht"I believed this is the "AntiAliasScreen" setting???0

To avoid confusion try entering '_AntiAliasScreen' in the Command Bar.0
-
I have tried with "_antialiasscreen" - it is the same system variable.I have tried a different drawing now - and the blurry text is gone.It seems to occur only in ONE special schematic drawing - the others are OK now. (I have no idea what could be the reason for this - as in every drawing I have used ARIAL as text style - with i.e. ISOCP there was no blurriness.Must be a problem with the TTF-Fonts ???But:I want to give a praise to BRICSCAD V16-64bit:
- It now has a lofting command for 3D-Modelling! And it works!!!!
- Switching from 2D-wiremesh to realistic view now needs about 5seconds (it was about 5times as long in V15-32bit)
Generally I am very happy with the upgrade.0
