.dwg - AutoCAD 2010 compatibility

Hello

Just downloaded the trial for mac and really like what I see so far. Currently I work with AutoCAD 2010  as does my manufacturer. I sent them a .dwg from BricsCAD last night and unfortunately, they cannot open the file. Is there anyway to revert a BricsCAD .dwg file to a format that AutoCAD 2010 can view/edit?

    Hello Adam,

    The default filetype in BricsCAD V16.1 is AutoCAD 2013.
    In the save as dialog, you can pick a different filetype (dropdown at the bottom).
    AutoCAD 2010 is also listed, as well as far older AutoCAD versions.
    In the settings dialog, you can modify the "SafeFormat" variable to pick another default filetype.
