Text selection and editing 16.1.02 rev 40514
Since going to version 16 I find if I click on a text to edit it the text opens and shows highlighted but then the program immediately loses focus and I have to click in the text box and select and then proceed.
15 doesn;t work like this.
I have checked with same dwg in both.
It's rather time consuming.
Is this a known issue or am I just having a bad experience.
I turned Quad OFF as that was interfering in my workflow. Only mention to eliminate any related matters.
Help appreciated thanks.

Tonight at home I see it works okay on my Laptop version.
Will have to explore as it's not a very nice experience in other areas on my PC (BricsCad ie).0 -
I was noticing this in 16.1 as well although not, curiously, in the latest 16.1.05-7.0
