Print Dialog disappeared?

BCad 14.2.16 on Wondows 7 64bit pro.
Suddenly when invoking "print" command or CTRL+P, there is no dialog box (on either monitor).
"_print" displays in the command line, but I have to hit ESC to continue.
No system changes made.
Workaround is to enter "Page Setup".
FILEDIA & CMDDIA are on.
Any suggestions?

  • Hmmm.. Apparently something in my User Profile got mangled.
Making the "Default" profile current restored everything to "fresh install" scenario (Print dialog now working).
I'll have to sort this out...no idea what happened, though...

  • Judging from your initial post the dialog is displayed off-screen.
If this happens for a single dialog you can try to remedy the problem by going into the Windows Registry.
    The key (64bit + en_US + Default profile) is:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Bricsys\BricsCAD\V16x64\en_US\Profiles\Default\Windows\rect
In your case you would need to change the first two numbers in the value for DLG_PRINT.
Of course you have to be careful when working with the Registry...
  • Excellent. All better.
    Thank you!
