Aliases won't "stick" V15

My office pushes BricsCAD settings and support files to all PCs each time a user logs into Windows. We skip the DEFAULT.PGP file and a couple of others so users can maintain individual shortcuts and aliases.Could something similar be the cause?0

Do you "skip" the default files by leaving out the directory references (roaming directories) in settings/program options/files section? I thought about that but was afraid something else might "break".

I've placed the default folders below mine in Folder List. That enables files not found in my directories to be found in the default locations.

Donald,
That's the way mine is set up too but the problem still persists. It's strange because I can reset it under the new drawing wizard and it'll be fine even after a reboot, but when turning my system off for the day and turning it on the next day the cycle repeats itself...under drawing wizard it shows basefile template as correct but still pulls up the default Brics template. I filed a support request and they had me check my work spaces settings/templates - everything there checks out OK too. Grrrrrr!!!

It still might be a SRCHPATH path issue. When the problem occurs you should check the value of the SRCHPATH variable and check if all folders are in fact available. It may help to give your own templates unique names.0

Disregard this post. Turns out it was a network problem on our end, Bricscad is fine.0
