Block name repetition.

I am creating blocks in drawing, but the blocks names are repeated and creating problem in assembly. To rename each and every blocks is not practically possible now. Any solution so that block names wont get repeated?

So the blocks are all the same but you want unique names?
As a suggestion you could use attributes - not sure how well adding an att definition to existing blocks works (I think I have unexpected results doing that), but I use one which is just a piece of text separate from any block.
Then any counting or listing is done using the attributes.
