BricsCad v16.2.14-1 Fedora 23 x86_64 - Quad opening in different window

 Hi,

I just upgraded from the previous stable v16 release of BricsCad and now my Quad menu is opening in it's own (new) window, which is positioned in the top left corner of my desktop...

I tried to mess around with the Quad settings, but it makes no effect.

Is there something I should do to have it working like in the previous version installed?
Or can I help you to debug this issue somehow?

Thanks in advance.

  • I'm having the same issue on Debian GNU/Linux 8.5 (jessie). Does your problem look the same in my video?

  •  Hi,

    yes it looks the same...
  • Not sure  if it is related, but make sure you are running a compositor with your window manager. For example I have had problems with the quad tool using openbox window manager only, but not when using openbox together with a compositor (such as compton) to render each window in its own fram buffer.
