BIM Subtract Layer name

Is there a way to change the layer used for the BIM subtract operation? I tried using a different layer in BIM windows I created but it didn't cut the hole in my walls when using the alternative layer name, whereas it does when I use the default BIM_SUBTRACT layer name on the same object. I'm not sure if that layer name is an industry standard or just one exclusive to BricsCAD but I'm hoping there is some flexibility here. Thanks.
