Surface area gets highlighted
hello,
i probably turned it off, but I do not know how I did it.
Last week I could hover over a closed area (not a square) and a the border got highlighted, a pop up menu showed up giving me the surface area of that figure.
Now this is not happening anymore (only at squares).
Anybody an idea how to turn this on again?

Check that ROLLOVERTIPS = 1. You can toggle this on/off by picking on 'RT' down in the status bar.
To detect boundaries SELECTIONMODES bit 4 must be on. This setting is changed automatically when you switch workspaces, and is turned off in the '2D drafting' workspace.

Dear BasTo find out what a system variable does, look it up in the Settings dialog (Tools > Settings). To quickly find the variable, type its name in the search field.0

strange, when I turn SELECTIONMODES to 4, it does not work anymore. The figure is closed. Anybody an idea?0

Perhaps the boundary is non-planar?0

Please notice boundaries are detected in the XY-plane of the current UCS only.0
