Was there a change to the join command?

In V17 if I join a bunch of lines it will create a polyline. Unfortunately, it leaves the existing lines. This can be annoying later if I move a line or if I change a polyline's linetype. In V16 the join command will create a polyline and won't leave existing lines. Maybe there is a new setting I'm missing or should I submit this as a bug?

this concerned a bug indeed.
Meanwhile this has been fixed in more recent BricsCAD V17 releases.
