SAVEFILEPATH & MOVEBAK v17
in Other
When setting both to point to a desired directory, the SV$ & bak files are still saved in the default C:\users\user\AppData\Local\Temp\Bricscad\
Is there a workaround?

did you use the expresstools for the V17?
Because in the V16 there was a timing bug while fireing the Reactors. But in the v17 its working fine.0 -

Yes, I'm using the latest (excellent) v17 Express Tools.0 -
have you set an path where to store the '*.bak files? (using the command 'movebak')
If you save an opened and changed file there will be the command echo '(MOVEBACK_DOit_now)T' at the commandline prompted. Did you regoniced this?0 -

Yes, a path has been saved using MOVEBAK.
No, there is no command echo MOVEBACK_DOit_now on the command line.0 -

Hi Martin
Yes, absolutely running the v17 Expresstools.
Replacing the .des file with the latest yields "Cannot load ACETUTIL.des" upon BCad launch.

:hmm it seems there was going something wrong, while comiling the file.
please try this new attached one.0 -
Excellent.
It appears now to work as advertised.
I appreciate your tenacity.
(Now if I can only figure out the SV$ save file path)
