Slow Saves
My only complaint with the new version 3.2.0001 is that the slow save bug has come back. Every time we save a drawing it takes a VERY lon time to complete. Will this be fixed soon?

There hasn't been any input on this subject? I've sent messages to Bricscad, too, and they haven't replied either. Am I the only one who has noticed this? Or am I the only one this is happening to?

Hi, Steve, I think the lack of response is that few others, if any, are experiencing a noticable difference in save times. I know that I am not experiencing the problem.

Bricscad is very fast on our newer CAD machines, no slow down on saves. We are currently running IC on Win-XP Pro, for our new standard CAD computers as follows:P4-2.2Ghz CPU MSI 6547E-010 motherboard clone CAD workstaion with 512MB of DDR-333 memory and Nvidia Quadro-550 64Mb AGP4X video card.So far it is much more stable...far fewer lockups and crashes and very much faster then with our older standard 1Ghz P3 workstations that use a 3D Oxygen VX1 AGP4X 32Mb video card and Win-98 SE. In fact, we project less then a 180 day pay back of the $1300 cost(including Win-XP Pro license) of our new P4 CAD computer, do to increased CAD operator productivity. However, we are reusing our existing 21" CAD monitors!!!

I am not personally experiencing these problems but perhaps setting the isavepercent higher or using qsave would help unless you need a full save,
