New Attributes on Old Blocks ?

When you redefine a block it updates existing instances BUT what do you do if you've added a new text attribute ? Txs, Dez

    You would need my sligthly modified version of Autocad's ATTREDEF.LSP to do this (the original chrashes Icad). Let me know if you still need this routine, and I will send it to you. PS: Use on a copy of the original drawing first.

    That's a kind offer, YES, I'm certainly interested in your lisp script. Several ICAD versions ago I believe I tried such a script but I seem to remember rather poor results, program crash or something. I don't understand LISP myself but I'll play with it eventualy.Thanks Again . Dez..
