Mechanical Component Descriptions
I've been trying to use the Description field for components in the mechanical browser but find that it cannot be edited. The only entries in the browser for which this item can be edited appear to be those of the root entry and of parameters.
My aim is to have this description, along with associated mechanical parameters, appear in the bill of materials generated by the BMBOM command. The little I've found documenting this area of BricsCAD suggests that effecting the necessary change is as simple as clicking and editing the field, and the user interface appears that way but the text field is locked. The field in question in the UI is in this post's attachment (surrounded by a red ellipse).
I've tried editing this field under BricsCAD v16.2.18 x64 platinum with all extra licenses under Linux and v16.2.15 x64 under Windows 10 with all extra licenses, with both exhibiting the same behavior.
Is anyone aware of how this field can be edited?
