AEC Objects
in Other
BCad Pro v17.1.17
I often receive dwg.s with AEC objects that appear as a blank rectangles with database info in the corner "AecbDbDuctFitting (AecbHvacBase60)" or similar.
Having the author re-issue using Export To Autocad is not a viable option.
The only workaround I've found is using True View, whereby I can save the dwg with objects exploded, and geometry of the AEC objects is intact.
(It's a horribly huge, swollen & bloated program that I was loathe to install, but...)
Are there any other workarounds? ADT enablers or the like?

In another thread, we were told that an ADT enabler was added in Bricscad v12, and that it enables ADT file editing without making a fanfare about it (so you might not know it's there), and that it works in one of two different ways depending on the setting of the DEMANDLOAD variable.0

Hello Anthony
Yes, I found that thread some time ago and tried it's suggestions.
AEC objects, however, still only appear as blank rectangles.
(Guess I'm stuck using True View, unless an alternative can be sourced.)0
