Attributes import to blocks

 I'm working with blocks. I used to use "attout" command in autocad and have attributes definition in .txt file then I imported this txt file to excel, manually edit data (from another program) and finally use "attin" command to import txt file with modified data to blocks in the drawings. 
This was very powerful tool-set that save me hours of work (seriously) Now I must manually edit attributes in lets say 1000+ blocks.

Is there any way to do the same in Bricscad? 
I've searched the forum but didn't find anything...
