Don´t want to get "crash_report.txt" anymore

is there a posibility to deactivate it or change the path of saving/ opening path.

Comments

  • The "crash_report.txt" file is created in "current OS folder" ...
so if you use a desktop icon to run BricsCAD, you can define that "execute in" folder to any suitable ... crash_report.txt should be created there (as it is for me).

    hope this helps ...
    many greetings !
  • Hello Torsten,
thx for reply but that isn´t helpfull for me.
At first I don´t know how to do it with the desktop icon and
otherwise- what about with the drawings, that I open from a server
path? Everytime when a crash happened there where created on the
folder in the server path and that we don´t want.
  • Hello, Halil,

if you use a desktop icon to start BricsCAD - then use "Properties" from right-click context menu :
    you will see the entry for "execute in" - here, set a local path you wish;
that folder is then "the current actual folder" when running BricsCAD process.

Then, the crash_report.txt file is created there ... no further side-effects.
    many greetings !
  • thank you torsten, but that is no option.
I open a drawing from a path on a SERVER.
It is not allowed to write there crash_txt files.
    Do you understand?
  • Dear Halil,

yes, I understand ... but opening the dwg file from server has nothing to do with the "execute in" OS folder ...
seems there is still a misunderstanding on your side :-)
