Linetype from 2nd party drawings
I received a drawing from a consultant that has a linetype that I would like to add to my collection. Question: is there a way to see the text of a linetype within the drawing? Note: this linetype is not in any of my .lin files, it only shows up in the consultant drawing, which I can copy to another drawing but I want to put it in the Default.lin file so I don't have to copy it around.
Thanks!

It may be possible to view the linetype by exporting a text DXF file. Then, search for the name of the linetype. Simplify the process by deleting and purging everything except for a line with that linetype.
Personally, for those situations, I just created a drawing that is empty, and purged, except for some lines with the linetypes I wanted to keep. Then when I want to use those linetypes, I just insert that drawing as a block. This brings in the linetypes.
