After 'join' original lines aren't deleted

Hi,

can someone help me with the following problem? After the command 'Join' of 'Fillet' I keep seeing (some) original lines. Very irritating because now i have to delete them manually. I know it's a setting problem but i can't see where to adjust this setting.

    For _Fillet check the TRIMMODE setting.
    For _Join check if you have superimposed lines.

    The OVERKILL command allows to delete superimposed entities.

    Hi, thanks for the support.
    TRIMMODE is ON, when i turn this to OFF it has no effect. The superimposed lines, i'm not familiar with. As far as i know i didn't make any adjustments to those settings. For your info, this problem wasn't there with V16, it was there when i installed/upgraded to V17.
    OVERKILL is a great function, but it's not the solvation for te cause.

    By 'superimposed lines' I mean lines drawn on top of other lines.

    @semeg: Please file a support request and attach a sample drawing if you think the problem only occurs in V17.
