Help! - papaer space / layout flipped 90 degrees

OK it was all going so well.......

layout1 seems to have flipped onto a different axis. The a little symbol bottom right of the view port that was showing an icon for a sheet of paper with a w on it and a couple of line. Now I have got a horizontal L with a X at the end.

No idea how I have done this or how to get back to an orientation I can continue with. but I still see the drawing as it was but if I try and add a dimension its like I am looking at the edge of the page.

    If you type UCSW, it should come good - the UCS had been changed.

    That didn't turn out as I typed it, try "UCS" return "W" return

    UCS and Enter (Return) twice does restore the World UCS.

    Thanks Gents,

    WCS restored can continue to work of the layout know. You prompt advice is greatly appreciated.
