Mtext Mask Defaults

Do we have access to the defaults in the Background mask Dialog?
I would like "Use background mask" checked and
"Use background color" checked and an offset value of 1.3

    Yes I would like to set my default text mask offset and dimension background fill offset to 1.05 instead of what seems to be the default of 1.5.

    Hello,
    almost two years after, but the question seems still unanswered.
    I'd like to preset MTEXT background to "use background mask & use drawing background color" by default, too.
    Is there a way to achieve this, even with some Lisp or VLisp code (to write something into registry/dictionary)?

    Sure, why not.

    Instructions:
    Change the values under '; Global variables (user settings):'.
    Load the LSP. The application will start automatically.
    Command to stop the application: BKG_AutoMask_Stop.
    Command to restart: BKG_AutoMask_Start.
