Profile export to ARG creates Linewrap?

I exported the profile to ARG ; the line ""SRCHPATH"="%Syste..." has a length of 321 characters. In the ARG file it is wrapped with CR/LF on a blank at position 271, now my ARG looks like

"SNAPTYPE"=dword:00000000 "SRCHPATH"="%SystemDrive%\\.......-> continues to 270 Files\\Bricsys\\BricsCAD V16 de_DE\\Help\\de_DE" "SSLOCATE"=dword:00000000
I suppose that the import will fail?

    Did you try to import it? It's likely the file is correct, just that your viewer inserted a linefeed when displaying it.

    thanks for the reply and sorry for my late answer - I missed the notification mail.

    It is strange - I just created a bunch of long support-pathes, and it was exported well with 650 characters in one line. So I have to check this once more.

    Behaviour of truncated lines - (well done..)

    If you have this entry in the ARG:
    "before"=a
    "srchpath"=long path 1; long path 2; truncated long
    path 3; long path 4
    "after"=b

    then ..
    it does not concatenate the truncated path (3), but it reads the first line until the end and continues to read in the following line. So will get (nearly) all values, but only the first part of the truncated one ..
