Paper Space objects not plotting from a PDF?

I'm not 100% sure this is a Bricscad issue but certain pdf's won't plot any text or lines on paperspace, only the viewports. The weird thing is that everything shows up in the pdf file ok...text, lines and everything. When I take it to my local printing service, the text and lines only are missing.
This is not an issue for pdf's with strictly model space viewports. I've also noticed as I published the set of drawings in question, it seemed to publish way too fast, like within 2 or 3 seconds.
Is this a setting issue?

I've attached images of the page setup i used along with the publishing setup. Linux/ Bricscad Version 17.2.11 (x64) revision 49654

    I would recommend you try Foxit Reader as your printer.
    Lots of features and in particular paper size options.
