Viewport within viewport

I would like to be able to create a viewport within a viewport, I know that I could make a funny shaped viewport and slot another viewport in a gap, but I would like to lay one over another.

Is it possible?

  • You can make viewports on top of one another, but not really inside one another. Maybe you need wipeouts or background masks in between. But it's usually not a good idea if you can avoid it because odd things always seem to happen with draworder and the results are often not as intended.

  • Hi Barrie,

you can make a region as viewport, containing the wished gap.
Aftertahat you can insert the second viewport inside of the gap of the region.
