Hatch - remove boundary entites - dimension
Hi,
I create hatch and I want to remove island
I use button "Remove boundary entites"
- for text it works
- for text of dimension it do not works
See at the attached pictures.
Can not be removed dimensions?
I try set "Islands" = "Ignore" and it for dimensions don't work.

You are right: When creating a hatch the boundary of a dimension text somehow cannot be removed. This is however possible if you edit an existing hatch. You should send in a Support Request.
I have no issue with the HPSTYLE=2 setting (ignore islands). Dimension text islands are correctly ignored.

An alternative approach would be to use "Text Fill" with the dimensions. With this you can create a background mask similar to MTEXT to hide underlying objects.

I think the OP wants the hatch to overlap the dimension. Maybe the area of the hatch is important.0
