LAYERS

I have a Trial VERSION OF "CLASSIC" ON page 91 of "INSIDE BRICSCAD" , THERE IS A Screen image of LAYERS. This is horizontal and similar to AutoCAD, But my Trial Version has them listed in a narrow band VERTICALLY, which makes it difficult to view and manipulate Also there is no indication of the various options . E.G.make this Layer current. EASY PEASY IN AutoCAD ,but not in Bricscad. Off-putting to a potential buyer !

  • Can you post a screenshot of your Layers List which is causing concern?
"Layer" command here has always worked as in AutoCAD.

The Layers panel is an optional panel which can either be docked or floating. You can dock the panel vertically or horizontally. See the Command Reference under L/LayersPanelOpen to learn more about it. To set the current layer you have several options: Click in the Current column on the layers panel (= first column), click the layer name in the drop-down list on the Entity Properties toolbar, or right click the Current Layer field in the Status bar .
