Bricscad memory usage

Hi,
I'm wandering what kind of memory does Bricscad use while drafting.
The case is that I work on the files on server, and the questions are:

• Does Bricscad make copy of the file from server into RAM or into HDD?
• And following this question, how much faster Bricscad will work with SSD instead of HDD?
