Sweep more than one edge

Is there an option to select more then one edge in sweep command? I have read the help but still no clue how to do that.

This indeed requires separate steps: first create the desired sweep path by extracting and joining the desired edges, then using this path to sweep along.

Thanks. Initially I have difficulty on how to select the extracted edges but later I figure out I need to press tab to cycle selection. Sorry for asking so many beginner questions as I don't have knowledge in AutoCAD like operations.
